    Full question wording

The Scottish Parliament has passed a law that
changes the rules for applying for a Gender
Recognition Certificate in Scotland. In future,
transgender people in Scotland will be able to
apply for a certificate after 6 months of living in
their acquired gender (3 months, then a 3 month
reflection period) and without the requirement of
a doctor's diagnosis of gender dysphoria. The
minimum age to apply for a certificate in Scotland
will be reduced to 16. It would become a criminal
offence to make a false application. The UK
    Government has blocked these proposed
changes, claiming they will have a negative
impact on how equality laws operate in the rest of
the UK. Others have claimed it would not make
    any difference to equality laws.
