Full question: As you may be aware, the Scottish Parliament recently introduced a Bill to make it easier for transgender people to gain Gender Recognition Certificates, legally recognising their acquired gender. The UK government has argued that the Gender Recognition Bill will affect equalities laws that apply to the whole of the UK and has blocked the Bill from becoming law. Do you think the UK government should or should not have blocked the Gender Recognition Bill?
